GAiT Director Dr. Jacqueline Barry

Dr. Barry is Chief Clinical Officer of the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, a UK centre of excellence for cell and gene therapy development. Previously, she was Head of Regulatory Affairs there. Dr. Barry has also worked at the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service in a number of senior quality and regulatory positions, including acting as Responsible Person and Qualified Person. Before that she held a number of academic posts studying neuromuscular regeneration. She has experience in the development, translation, clinical trial and approval of cell based medicinal products and therapies in the UK and EU.
